On 20 June, representatives of the Execution Department took part in a virtual meeting regarding monitoring compliance with decisions of international courts of human rights and of UN Treaty Bodies. The meeting was organised by the Registry of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. Participants included the Execution Department, the Registries of the African Court of Human and Peoples Rights and the Inter-American Court, as well as the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Human Rights Treaties Branch. The meeting offered a unique opportunity to exchange on internal practices, opportunities, and challenges faced by each organisation and aimed to strengthen inter-institutional dialogue.
