On 10 and 11 May 2019, the Department for the Execution of the European Court's judgments participated in a conference on “Loyal Cooperation within the System of the European Convention on Human Rights” organised by the University of Liverpool School of Law and Social Justice.
The conference gathered together legal academics, scholars and junior researchers as well as the colleagues from the Cooperation Department and the Venice Commission.
The keynote speech was delivered by the judge of the European Court elected on behalf of Ukraine, Mrs. Ganna Yudkivska. The requirement of loyal cooperation of Member States in the execution process was highlighted.
