The European Youth Foundation is visiting projects it is supporting and run by non-governmental youth organisations.

Through the visits the Foundation expects to increase the visibility of the EYF and the Council of Europe; give feedback to the Programming Committee on Youth (more about the Committee); establish contact with youth NGOs; get to know NGOs and the work they do.

Visited projects are organised by non-governmental youth organisations (NGOs) which are registered with the Foundation and received a grant. (More information on the application process).

The EYF visits an international youth activity in Braga, Portugal

As part of its regular project monitoring, a staff member of the EYF visited the international activity “Youth takes the floor - a training course on how to increase youth participation in decision making”. The activity was organised by the DYPALL Network in Braga, from 20 to 26 March 2022.

Seventeen participants from 10 countries got together in Braga to discuss successful mechanisms to ensure young people engagement in the decision-making processes of the local communities.

The EYF visited the project during a full day. After a morning collecting good practices, they were involved in a simulation to discuss about differences between co-management, young committee and consultation model.

More information about the DYPALL network can be found on their website.
