The European Youth Foundation is visiting projects it is supporting and run by non-governmental youth organisations.

Through the visits the Foundation expects to increase the visibility of the EYF and the Council of Europe; give feedback to the Programming Committee on Youth (more about the Committee); establish contact with youth NGOs; get to know NGOs and the work they do.

Visited projects are organised by non-governmental youth organisations (NGOs) which are registered with the Foundation and received a grant. (More information on the application process).

EYF visits project of the Federation of Young European Greens

On 21 and 22 April 2022, the EYF visited the international activity „The politics of Mental Health”, organised by the Federation of Young European Greens (FYEG) in Podgorica, Montenegro.

This activity is a training course that gathered 36 young participants from 12 Council of Europe's member states, to explore how structural factors affect the mental health of young people, and to develop a common understanding on the political dimension of mental health.

This activity is part of the 2022 Annual Work Plan of FYEG, and will be followed by a summer camp to develop tools and practices to promote mental health in youth activist movements and a closing evaluation seminar.
