On 14 and 15 September 2022, the EYF visited the international activity of European Youth for Action (@EYFA), “Queer Elsewhere - Exploring intersecting oppressions of queer migrant youth”, organised in Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain. This activity is supported by the EYF.

The activity brought together young people with migration background, who identify as queer, to learn about transformative methods and tools to combat discrimination and systemic oppression, and create a space to explore the experiences and intersectional issues of queer youth with migration background in Europe.

The workshop will be followed by the creation of a resource guide highlighting the multi-layered experiences of migrant queer youth, listing support networks such as associations, youth centres, programs and including transformative anti-discrimination and healing practices.
