The EYF organised an training event in Slovenia, in co-operation with the Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Youth and the National Youth Council of Slovenia.
The presentation, which took place between and 11 and 13 March in Ljubljana, provided skills and knowledge related to the EYF application process and the opportunities and working methods of the EYF, as well as certain highlights of youth policy and project management.
Using group work, discussions, simulations and other non-formal education methodologies, participants explored the writing and assessment of a grant application, the decision-making process in the EYF and what happens after the grant decisions.
The objectives were to:
- Reach out directly to young people and youth organisations in a Council Europe member state
- Disseminate the opportunities offered by the EYF and its specificities
- Learn about the reality and context of youth NGOs in Slovenia
- Support the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport in its work with youth NGOS in the country
The EYF thanks its national partners in this event and looks forward to receiving new registrations from Slovenian youth NGOs and project applications in the near future.
