Back No. 156/2017 Panhellenic Association of Pensioners of the OTE Group Telecommunications v. Greece

The complaint was registered on 23 August 2017. It relates to Articles 12§§2 and 3 (right to social security) of the 1961 Charter as well as 4§1 (right of elderly persons to social protection) of the 1988 additional Protocol of the 1961 Charter. The complainant organisation alleges that the Acts 4336/2015, 4387/2016 and 4472/2017 implemented by the Greek Government, introducing the reduction of certain pensions and allowances, were adopted in violation of the aforementioned provisions of the 1961 Charter and its 1988 additional Protocol.
