Back New deadline for submission of comments on national reports by trade unions, employers’ organisations and non-governmental organisations

Reporting Procedure
New deadline for submission of comments on national reports by trade unions, employers’ organisations and non-governmental organisations

As the due by date approaches for States Parties to the European Social Charter to present their national reports on the thematic group I of Charter provisions relating to employment, training and equal opportunities (31 December as opposed to the usual 30 October), we are pleased to announce an extension of the period for submission of comments and other information on those reports. Trade unions, employers’ organisations, non-governmental organisations and others are invited to submit comments and other information by 30 June 2020 (instead of the usual 30 April deadline). Nonetheless, the European Committee of Social Rights would welcome that comments are submitted at the earliest possible opportunity.

For more information, non-governmental organisations can consult the brochure "How can (I)NGOs engage with the European Committee of Social Rights under the monitoring procedures of the European Social Charter", prepared for this purpose.
