Monika Schlachter, Professor for International and European Labour Law and Civil Law in the University of Trier, Germany, and former Vice President of the European Committee of Social Rights, shares her thoughts on Germany’s recent ratification of the Revised European Social Charter, but also on the role of the European Social Charter in protecting social rights in Europe over the past 60 years.
