The North-South Centre of the Council of Europe is organising the first #SOLIDACTION Campaign webinar “INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY. Its changing face: how to harness the best from the new equality and social justice movements?" on 17 September 2020 at 3 pm (CET).
Giuseppe Palmisano, President of the European Committee of Social Rights, Avril Benoit, Executive Director of Doctors Without Borders USA, and Raúl Acosta, Professor of Social and Political Anthropology will exchange on the new equality and social justice movements which place human solidarity on the agenda of global politics.
The webinar will be moderated by Cathie Burton from the Council of Europe with an introduction by Ambassador Manuel Montobbio, Chair of the Executive Committee of the North-South Centre.
This discussion takes place within the #SOLIDACTION campaign launched by the North-South Centre amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
