The Bureau of the Governmental Committee met in Paris on 22 October 2024 to discuss issues to be put in the agenda of the upcoming plenary meeting of the Governmental Committee that will take place in November 2023.
On the 23rd of October, the Working Group on the Reform of the European Social Charter (ESC) met also in Paris to deliberate on advancing on the implementation of the decisions taken by the Commitete of Ministers as the result of the reform process in 2023, which addressed several requests to the Governmental Committee. The work focused on preparing a draft recommendation on promoting education and raising awareness about the ESC system, with a discussion on how to enhance education and training on the European Social Charter and on social rights.
