Bulgaria accepts eight additional provisions of the European Social Charter

On 1 July 2022, Bulgaria notified the Council of Europe that it accepts eight additional provisions of the European Social Charter, namely Articles 9, 10§2, 10§3a, 10§4, 12§2, 12§4, 19§5 and 19§9. This brings the total number of provisions accepted by Bulgaria to 70 out of 98 paragraphs. The additional provisions will enter into force for Bulgaria as from 1 August 2022. 

Bulgaria ratified the Revised European Social Charter and accepted the collective complaints procedure on 07 June 2000.
