144th meeting of the Governmental Committee of the European Social Charter and the European Code of Social Security

The Governmental Committee* of the European Social Charter and the European Code of Social Security ("Governmental Committee") is holding its 144th meeting from 30 May to 3 June 2022 in hybrid mode.

Within the framework of the European Code of Social Security, the Governmental Committee will adopt the International Labour Organisation conclusions as draft Council of Europe Resolutions to be submitted to the Committee of Ministers.

The Governmental Committee will take stock of the situation regarding the reform process of the European Social Charter and will discuss the developments envisaged and the measures it would like to take in this respect.

In addition, the Governmental Committee will examine the national situations with regard to the thematic group "Health, social security and social protection", conclusions XXII-2 (2021) - European Social Charter (CES) 1961 and conclusions 2021 - Revised European Social Charter (RESC).

An updated list of INGOs entitled to present collective complaints will also be submitted to the Governmental Committee with a view to its adoption.

* The Governmental Committee is composed of representatives of States Parties which have ratified either the European Social Charter or the European Code of Social Security.
