The EUR-OPA Executive Secretary participated in the Steering Committee of the “Technical Assistance Project on Delivering Good Governance in Greece” on 13 and 14 March in Athens. The meeting launched the project and brought together representatives of the Hellenic Ministry of Interior, the Hellenic General Secretariat for Civil Protection, the European Commission’s Structural Reform Support Service, the Centre of Expertise for Good Governance of the Council of Europe as well as local partner institutions and stakeholders.
EUR-OPA is cooperating closely with the Centre of Expertise for Good Governance to support the Greek General Secretariat for Civil Protection to create an emergency sheltering service to citizens affected by natural disasters.
