This year, the Forum was devoted to contemporary issues of importance needed to promote a good political climate for implementation of the Hyogo Framework for Action. Therefore, one of the main results, with particular importance for the EUR-OPA Agreement, was the decision to integrate the topic of people with disabilities and their preparedness to disasters at the 3rd World Conference on Disaster Risk reduction, which will be held in Sendai, Japan, on 14-18 March 2014.
