Seventeen films supported by the Council of Europe’s Eurimages Fund will be screened during the 68th edition of the Berlinale which will take place from 15 to 25 February 2018, of which 6 co-productions are selected in official competition:
DOVLATOV by Aleksey German Jr. (RU, PL), FIGLIA MIA by Laura Bispuri (IT, DE, CH), MEIN BRUDER HEISST ROBERT UND IST EIN IDIOT by Philip Gröning (DE, FR, CH), 3 DAYS IN QUIBERON (DE, AT, FR), TOUCH ME NOT by Adina Pintilie (RO, DE, CZ, BG, FR) and TRANSIT by Christian Petzold (DE, FR).
BLACK 47 by Lance Daly (IE, LU) will be screened out of competition;
OUR MADNESS by João Viana (PT, Mozambique, FR) and CON EL VIENTO by Meritxell Colell Aparicio (ES, FR, AR) are selected in competition in the Forum section.
MY GIRAFFE by Barbara Bredero (NL, BE, DE) will be screened in the framework of the section Generation Kplus whereas COBAIN by Nanouk Leopold (NL, BE, DE) and FORTUNA by Germinal Roaux (CH, BE) are selected in competition of Generation 14Plus.
THE HAPPY PRINCE by Rupert Everett (DE, BE, IT) is in the programme of the section Berlinale Special Gala.
Finally, four films will be screened in the framework of the Panorama section: the documentary GAME GIRLS by Alina Skrzeszewska (FR, DE) and the films LAND by Jalali Babak (IT, FR, MX, NL), LEMONADE by Ioana Uricaru (RO, DE, CA) and STYX by Wolfgang Fischer (DE, AT).Moreover, the Eurimages Co-production Development Award will be presented in the framework of the Berlinale Co-Production Market which will be held from 17 to 21 February 2018, and the Eurimages team will be happy to welcome you on its new stand (N°41) within the Martin-Gropius-Bau during the entire length of the European Film Market.
