In the framework of the  Council of Europe project on « Reform of the electoral process in Georgia », the Division of Electoral Assistance organised a study visit for the Central Election Commission of Georgia to Norway from 2 to 5 July 2019.

This study visit was the opportunity for the CEC of Georgia to meet and discuss with various stakeholders of the electoral process in Norway at different levels. During this visit, the delegation met the Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation, the Secretariat of the Election Act Committee, the Norwegian Directorate of Elections, the Local Election Administration of Drammen, the Secretariat of the Election Board in Viken County, the representative of a NGO for municipalities and counties conducting elections in Norway and the National Security Authority of Norway.
