In the framework of the programme of assistance to Georgia ahead of the parliamentary (2012), presidential (2013) and local (2014) election the Council of Europe in co-operation with the International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy of Georgia (ISFED) organised a workshop on “ Working and communication modalities in coalition during civic election observation missions” for the representatives of the Armenian non-governmental organisations Helsinki Citizen’s Assembly – Vanadzor, Transparency International Armenia, Europe-in-Law and Asparez.

The event aimed at enhancing observers’ NGOs capacities to form coalitions with a view to monitor and observe the conduct of elections. By the end of the workshop the participants drafted their own coalition strategy.
