The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia has established an external network of advisors on democratic school culture that will deliver a number of trainings for education professionals and teachers in their school districts and serve as focal points on the topic. The first working meeting of external advisors, recruited from the joint European Union and Council of Europe Quality education for all action mentor schools, was held from 16 to 18 November in Vrnjačka Banja. The Ministry of Education organised this meeting in accordance with its action plan and Education Strategy 2030.

The goal of this meeting was to prepare a work plan and a timeframe for future actions as well as to enable mentors to learn how practical support to other schools can be offered when it comes to fighting against discrimination in the formal education system.

The action Quality education for all is implemented under the joint European Union/Council of Europe programme “Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey 2019-2022“.
