The Educators’ Guide, key resource supporting the Digi-Nauts videos and Activity Book, is now available in Turkish. The Guide, translated thanks to the Ministry of National Education – General Directorate of Innovation and Educational Technologies (MoNE DGIET) of the Republic of Türkiye, provides guidance on using the Digi-Nauts videos in the classrooms and at home, explaining the background, messages and activities listed in the Activity book.
Currently, there are three Digi-Nauts videos available addressing the following topics: access and inclusion, health and well-being and consumer awareness. The videos target young digital citizens and are meant to encourage discussions with their parents/carers and educators on what it means to be a digital citizen. Key messages from the videos include “being different is ok”, “there is time and place for everything” and “let’s take better care of our planet”.
By presenting the main messages of the videos, related activities and their impact, the Educators’ Guide is essential to making the Digi-Nauts Series a comprehensive and effective way to teach children aged 4 to 9 how to use digital technologies, helping them become digital citizens.
