The Government of Spain has made a voluntary contribution of €150,000 to support the Council of Europe Neighbourhood Partnerships with Morocco and Tunisia 2022-2025, the projects “PEACE YP: Promoting Euro-Africa Cooperation to Enhance Youth Participation for Peace” and “All informed-All concerned: Promoting diversity and equality” implemented by the North-South Centre, the activities of the Venice Commission, the translation of the Council of Europe website hub into Spanish, as well as to reduce the European Court of Human Rights backlog of well-founded cases.

Ambassador Manuel Montobbio, Permanent Representative of Spain to the Council of Europe, met with Mr Bjørn Berge, Deputy Secretary General, on this occasion.
