The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg has made a voluntary contribution of €81,870 to promote human rights and equality for LGBTI persons, protect children against all forms of human rights violations, support the Internet Platform to promote the protection of journalism and safety of journalists, and to reduce the European Court of Human Rights backlog of well-founded cases.

The agreement was signed on 3 June 2021 by Ambassador Stephan Müller, Permanent Representative of Luxembourg to the Council of Europe and Mr Bjørn Berge, Deputy Secretary General.
