Ireland makes a voluntary contribution

The Government of Ireland has made a voluntary contribution of €270,000 to support the Council of Europe Action Plans for Armenia, for Georgia and for Ukraine, the cooperation activities in Kosovo*, the webcasting of public hearings of the European Court of Human Rights, the prevention of violence against women, the European SOGI Governmental Expert Network and the Lanzarote Convention Monitoring Mechanism.

The agreements were signed on 26 May 2021 by Ambassador Breifne O’Reilly, Permanent Representative of Ireland to the Council of Europe, and by Mr Bjørn Berge, Deputy Secretary General.

* All reference to Kosovo, whether the territory, institutions or population, in this text shall be understood in full compliance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 and without prejudice to the status of Kosovo.
