The Government of Germany has made a voluntary contribution of €1,500,000 to support the Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine 2018-2022, the Council of Europe Action Plan for Georgia 2020-2023 and the Council of Europe Action Plan for the Republic of Moldova 2021-2024. 

These Action Plans aim to support Ukraine, Georgia and the Republic of Moldova in implementing the Council of Europe standards relating to human rights, democracy and the rule of law.

The agreements were signed on 7 December 2021 by Ambassador Jutta Frasch, Permanent Representative of Germany to the Council of Europe, and Mr Bjørn Berge, Deputy Secretary General.
