The Steering Committee for the Rights of the Child (CDENF) is organising the 2nd and 3rd editions of the webinar series on the challenges related to children’s rights in the context of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The second webinar titled “Children’s mental health” will be held on 22 November 2021 from 10:30 to 12:00 CET to exchange on the new challenges for the access to and continuity of services in the area of mental health, and about children’s hardship and sometimes distress faced during lockdowns.

The 3rd webinar, which will focus on “Intrafamily violence”, will take place the same day from 14:00 to 15:30 CET. It will address specific topics of prevention and protection of children from violence. It is also a contribution to the European Day on the protection of children against sexual exploitation and sexual abuse.

These webinars will bring together CDENF national delegations, participants and observers who will share good practices, as well as international experts, with the aim of shedding light on issues of, inter alia, mental health disorders and prevention of violence in the context of the pandemic. The webinars will be broadcasted live.
