The CNDP (Commisso Nacional de protecçao de dados) is celebrating its 4th anniversary with the organisation of a conference on the theme « Personal data, social networks on line and democracy ». This conference, attended by over 100 participants from Cabo Verde, provided a unique opportunity to command Cabo Verde for its accession to Convention 108 last year, and present Convention 108+ to the high-level audience of the Conference.
The conference is being hosted in the National Assembly of the Republic and the President of the National Assembly in his opening address underlined the importance for the country to effectively secure respect for the right to data protection in Cabo Verde .
