GLACY+: Specialized Judicial Course on International Cooperation on cybercrime and electronic evidence in Panama

During 14-16 December, the Glacy+ Project together with Public Ministry of Panama delivered the online Judicial Training Course on International Cooperation on cybercrime and electronic evidence, for Panama.

The training aimed at strengthening cooperation between the police, prosecutors and Central Authority for judicial cooperation for reinforcing the judicial cooperation procedures on cybercrime and electronic evidence, based on the provisions and tools offered by the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime and its Second Additional Protocol.

The event was attended by approximately 25 participants, among which prosecutors, judges, public officials representing the 24/7 contact point along with public officials of the Central Authority for judicial cooperation.

Panama joined the Budapest Convention in 2014, having an extensive legal framework, both substantive and procedural, including regulations on international cooperation on cybercrime.
