The 10th meeting of the Steering Committee was held online, on 12 July 2021, covering the developments and updates that took place over the past six months in the priority countries, conducting a review of the GLACY+ project activities, planning for future endeavors and gathering feedback from project countries and regions. 

During the meeting, the project team, country coordinators and project partners actively engaged in assessing the progress made since the last committee and reviewing the workplan until the end of 2021.

With more than 70 national, regional and international events and activities organized since the last Steering Committee, the project continued to provide to its priority countries and to a number of additional countries a consistent support in strengthening their national cybercrime strategies and policies, harmonizing and/or drafting the national legislation on cybercrime and electronic evidence to international standards and well as strengthening competencies and skills of the criminal justice authorities of the GLACY+ countries.

The regional approach of the project proved to be once again successful as it allowed to consolidate collaborations and ensure sustainability of the capacity building efforts.
