CyberSouth: Supports the delivery of Electronic Evidence Training

During the period of 3-6 June 2019, CEPOL and European Judicial Training Network (EJTN) organised a training on the topic of handling of electronic evidence 36 EU law enforcement officers and prosecutors involved in cybercrime investigations.

The aim of the training was to provide to the participants the knowledge and skills to allow fulfilling their tasks relating to cybercrime investigations, improving the use of electronic evidence in investigations and prosecutions of cybercrime and relevancy and admissibility of such evidence.

CyberSouth project supported this training, by presenting the Electronic Evidence Guide developed by the Council of Europe with the aim to provide guidance to criminal justice professionals on how to identify and handle electronic evidence in such ways that will ensure its authenticity for later admissibility in court.
