Cybercrime

[25 February - 1 March 2013, Oslo, Norway] Within the framework of the Joint EU/COE projects CyberCrime@IPA and CyberCrime@EAP, the Council of Europe in partnership with the Norwegian Police University College is organizing a “Training of Trainers” and “Law Enforcement 1st responders course” for cybercrime investigations.

Twenty two law enforcement officers from the CyberCrime@IPA and CyberCrime@EAP project areas will participate in the training that will take place from 25 February – 1 March 2013 at the Norwegian Police University College.

The course is aimed at enabling Law Enforcement officials to carry out training of “Law Enforcement 1st responders” in their countries/areas in appropriately handling the crime scenes that have elements of cybercrime and electronic evidence. These trainings will be done based on the training course material that has been developed under the CyberCrime@IPA project and is being made available to Law Enforcement in both project areas.
