Back C-PROC organized a briefing on cybercrime matters to mark the 70th anniversary

To mark the 70th Anniversary of the Council of Europe, the Cybercrime Programme Office (C-PROC) organised a briefing on cybercrime matters for the representatives of the Embassies of Parties to the Cybercrime Convention in Bucharest, Romania.

The meeting took place at the premises of C-PROC, on 30 October 2019, and provided an update on the current activities implemented by CPROC as well as on the work of the Cybercrime Convention Committee (T-CY), in particular with respect to criminal justice access to electronic evidence.

The C-PROC office based in Bucharest takes up on behalf of the Council of Europe the responsibility to implement cybercrime capacity building programmes aiming to assist criminal justice authorities from different countries to reinforce their capacities when dealing with cybercrime and electronic evidence.
