On 10-14 June 2019, the first meeting of the working group in charge of developing a manual on cybercrime and electronic evidence for Tunisian magistrates was held in Tunisia. This first meeting was supported by the CyberSouth project and aimed at discussing the details of the manual and its dissemination. The working group is composed of some of the most experienced magistrates who took part in the training courses on cybercrime and electronic evidence, initial and advanced, delivered within the framework of CyberSouth project in November 2018 and February 2019.
The second meeting of the working group will be held in Autumn 2019 and will be dedicated to review and finalise the first draft of the domestic manual on cybercrime and electronic evidence. The Ministry of Justice and the Institut Supérieur de la Magistrature are strong supporters of this initiative and promote the specialisation of Tunisian magistrates.
