The joint initiative of the European Union and the Council of Europe, CyberSouth+, supported the Higher School for Magistrates of Morocco to deliver a basic training course on cybercrime and electronic evidence to in-service magistrates.
The participants acquired knowledge and skills on handling electronic evidence, procedural powers and co-operation with the private sector, in line with the framework of the Convention on Cybercrime (Budapest Convention).
Morocco has been developing a comprehensive educational programme for magistrates, both student and in-service magistrates, and the CyberSouth+ project is assisting the Higher School for Magistrates in this endeavor, including by reinforcing the national pool of trainers.
