Etoiles et Toiles du Cinéma Européen: action!
The opening evening of the 18th edition of the “Etoiles et Toiles du Cinéma Européen” will take place on Wednesday 4 October 2017 at 20h15 at the Odyssée cinema in Strasbourg in the presence of the members of the jury, the President of Eurimages, Mrs Catherine Trautmann, and the director of the film (Clair-obscur) which will follow the ceremony, Yesim Ustaoglu.

A co-operation between the Council of Europe, the Eurimages Fund and the Rencontres Cinématographiques d’Alsace, this event is giving you the possibility to see a selection of 12 co-productions supported by the Eurimages Fund. It comes to a close on Thursday 16 November with the awarding of two honorific prizes:
- the Odyssée - Council of Europe Prize for Artistic Creation and
- the Odyssée - Council of Europe Prize for Human Rights
which will be awarded by a Jury composed of 12 Permanent Representatives to the Council of Europe, the Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Mrs Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni and the Executive Director of Eurimages, Mr Roberto Olla, and presided by the Permanent Representative of Croatia, Mr Miroslav Papa.

A special evening is taking place on 10 October at 20h with a debate following the screening of the film Nocturama by Bertrand Bonello.
