Ukraine: Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe programme presented at “Ukraine International Travel Market 2021”

On 5 October, the National Tourism Organization of Ukraine (NTOU) organized the UITM’2021 (Ukraine International Travel Market). It is the First International Forum for National Tourism Organizations (NTOs) and Destination Management Organizations (DMOs). It analysed the new role of NTOs and DMOs for sustainable tourism development and the development of DMOs in the Ukraine. The Forum was also organized with the support of the WTTC – World Tourism and Travel Council (WTTC), the World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) and the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe (EPA).

Mr. Stefano DOMINIONI, Executive Secretary of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe and the Director of the European Institute of Cultural Routes, presented the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe programme at the event.

Ukraine is the 35th member State of the EPA, having joined in 2021. It is crossed by 3 certified Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe: the Via Regia, European Mozart Ways and the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
