- Description
- The Abbey of L’Aumône (also known as “Le Petit Cîteaux”) is a former Cistercian Monastery founded in the 12th century. After its final closure with the French Revolution, the abbatial church and all the monastic buildings, both from the 12th and the 17th centuries, completely disappeared (www.cister.net/abbayes/fr/21/aumone).
