Description
Arnsburg Monastery is a former Cistercian complex founded in 1174. After the monks left in 1810, the Monastery belonged to the Counts of Solms-Laubach, and the late Romanesque and early Gothic parts of the church have been preserved as ruins.
The main goal of the “Circle of Friends of the Arnsburg Monastert” Association is to preserve the medieval buildings of the Monastery, along with promoting researches and disseminating knowledge on this Cistercian site.
