Description
Esrum Abbey was the second Cistercian monastery founded in Denmark (1151), on the island of Zealand (www.cister.net/abbayes/fr/45/esrum).
Nowadays, the Abbey is an attraction run by the Esrum Kloster & Møllegård Foundation (est. 1999). The mission of the Foundation is to make the area’s cultural and natural history come to life as well as create an exciting and engaging framework for experiences and to promote culture and nature.
