The CLEP Project, in close collaboration with the Moldovan Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), implemented a training on anti-money laundering compliance for financial institutions. The programme focused on presenting typologies of money laundering and new trends in the field. Anti-money laundering vigilance and detection of unusual financial flows were presented and discussed in details. The training also offered an overview of the international standards for sanctions. Case studies tailored for the audience were included in the training. 20 representatives from Moldovan banks (15 women and 5 men) took part in the event.
