Some 60 representatives of federal and regional Business Ombudsman Offices of the four pilot regions and 21 other regions, as wells as high-level representatives of executive and legislative bodies, legal firms, and business associations of the Krasnodar Krai participated in the second workshop on “Inspections at municipal level and their impact on the regular business processes”.  The participants had an opportunity to discuss the main findings and recommendations of the draft report prepared by the Council of Europe experts with input from the members of the Working Group, and to share their experience regarding the obstacles encountered by businesses during inspections in the regions they represent. Furthermore, the participants provided valuable feedback on the proposed recommendations to address identified shortcomings based on international good practices and tailored to specific needs and country context. As a result, the report will be updated and finalised in light of the comments and inputs provided by the workshop participants.
