Back Round table on the functioning of the anti-corruption mechanism

In cooperation with the EU Office/EUSR and Kosovo* Anti-corruption Agency the joint EU/Council of Europe Project against Economic Crime (PECK II) supported the organisation of a round table on ‘Functioning of the Anti-corruption Mechanism: Challenges in tackling a corruption case’ which took place on 11 December 2017 in Pristina, Kosovo*. This activity is part of a series of awareness raising actions within the framework of the Anti-corruption week. This event brought together the Anti-corruption Agency, State Prosecutor’ Office and Police as the main involved institutions when initiating and investigating corruption cases. Other relevant stakeholders including EU Office/EUSR, other central beneficiary institutions, diplomatic missions, civil society and media representatives took part to the discussion. In addition, a Council of Europe expert presented specific comparative perspective and experience in relation to the subject matter. The event was covered by local media.
