Presentation of PRECOP project results at the 9th All-Russian conference of business ombudsmen

The 9th All-Russian conference of business ombudsmen took place on 24 may 2017 in Moscow. Its plenary session was focused on the presentation and discussion of the main findings of the annual report of the Federal Business Ombudsman Boris Titov to the President of the Russian Federation. The report touches upon key problems impeding the development of Russian business.

Along with the discussion of critical issues of entrepreneurship, the Federal Business Ombudsman Boris Titov and public ombudsman on anti-corruption Dina Krylova presented main deliverables of the PRECOP RF[1] and PRECOP II[2] projects implemented jointly with the Council of Europe. They underlined relevance and practical value of the projects for the development of the institute of Business Ombudsman.

Boris Titov particularly stressed the importance of the expertise and good practices provided through the projects in various anti-corruption activities, as well as highlighted the practical recommendations stemming out of project deliverables.

Certain recommendations of PRECOP RF[1] and PRECOP II[2] projects together with the overall information on the projects were included in the Federal Business Ombudsman’s Report to the President of the Russian Federation.
