Following the adoption of the Law on Conflict of Interest in Discharge of Public Functions and subsequent support provided by the PECK II Project in developing necessary sub legal acts and guidance, an information session with the public officials at the local level took place in Peja, Kosovo on 26 June 2019. Participants from various institutions representing 11 municipalities of Kosovo were informed about the new legal framework and their obligations in this regard. The participants welcomed this event and asked for further guidelines which could support them while dealing with concrete cases of conflict of interest.

Follow up activities are planned within PECK II Project with other municipalities throughout Kosovo, whereas distribution of the Toolkit on Managing Conflict of Interest developed by the Project shall be ensured.
