As regards the Kingdom in Europe, the Kingdom of the Netherlands considers itself bound by Articles 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5; Article 6, paragraphs 1, 2 and 3; Article 6, paragraph 4 (except for civil servants); Articles 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and Article 19, paragraphs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9.

Declaration contained in a letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, dated 31 March 1980, handed to the Secretary General at the time of deposit of the instrument of ratification, on 22 April 1980 - Or. Fr. and amended by a declaration contained in a Note Verbale from the Permanent Representation of the Netherlands dated 23 May 2017, registered at the Secretariat General on 29 May 2017 – Or. Engl.

As regards the Netherlands Antilles, the Kingdom of the Netherlands considers itself bound by Articles 1 and 5, Article 6 and Article 16.

[Note by the Secretariat: The Netherlands confirm the above mentioned declaration for Curaçao, Sint Maarten and the Caribbean part of the Netherlands (the islands of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba) as from 10 October 2010. The declaration remains valid for Aruba.

As regards the Kingdom in Europe, the Kingdom of the Netherlands will consider itself bound by paragraphs 8 and 10 of Article 19 of the Charter as from the date of entry into force - for the Kingdom (the Kingdom in Europe) - of the European Convention on the Legal Status of Migrant Workers, which was concluded at Strasbourg on 24 November 1977.
