The first national seminar on Roma inclusion took place on 17 December 2015, in Lithuania. 25 elected officials and senior civil servants from Lithuanian cities and regions, participants in the European Alliance for Roma Inclusion, met to exchange their concrete experiences and know-how, as well as best practices on strengthening competencies on the integration of Roma into mainstream societies. This seminar is part of the objectives of the Alliance which aim, for the most part to provide participating cities and regions with a common platform from which to promote the territorial dimension of Roma inclusion. Similar national seminars have already been organised in France, Spain and Serbia.
