Call for applications for the ARLEM Prize 2021: Local Youth Entrepreneurship in the Mediterranean

For the third edition of the ARLEM Prize 2021, the Euro-Mediterranean Local and Regional Assembly (ARLEM), in which the Congress participates as an observer, is launching a call for applications to support local youth entrepreneurship in the countries on the three shores of the Mediterranean. The ARLEM Prize rewards young entrepreneurs for innovative projects that work for the benefit of their local communities, with the support of local authorities. With this award, ARLEM aims to stimulate local enterprises, support young entrepreneurs and encourage collaboration between local public authorities and the private sector.

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the limits of globalisation and the crucial importance of the local economy. More than ever, young local entrepreneurs need support to develop their businesses and meet the needs of local communities.

The winner, together with the local or regional authority that supported it, will be announced at ARLEM's 12th plenary session in early 2021 (#ARLEMaward).

Registration is open from 15 June to 31 August 2020.
