The Congress is currently implementing the project “ Promoting Local Democracy in Ukraine” as part of the democratic governance component of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine 2015-2017. This project provides inter alia capacity-building and awareness-raising activities on local democracy principles for actors in local democracy, namely, young civil society leaders, political activists, politicians, and representatives of the media. The Congress is looking for international trainers to contribute, alongside Congress members and experts, to the implementation of such activities, under the guidance of its Secretariat in Strasbourg (France) and in Kyiv. A call for tenders has been published with the following deadline for the submission of bids: 2 March 2016.
