The Ministers' Deputies held their 1339^th meeting on 6 March 2019.

During the meeting, Mr Witold Bańka, Minister of Sport and Tourism of the Polish Government and European candidate to the post of President of the World Anti-doping Agency (WADA), addressed the Deputies.

They took note of Opinion No. 13 (2018): “Independence, accountability and ethics of prosecutors”, which was adopted by the Consultative Council of European Prosecutors (CCPE) at its last plenary meeting (more information …).

The Deputies also authorised the Secretary General to conclude an agreement with the European Commission regarding the Council of Europe’s contribution to the assessment of the implementation and effective application of the 4th Directive (EU) 2015/849 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 May 2015, on the prevention of the use of the financial system for the purpose of money laundering or terrorist financing.
