Back Meeting of the Ministers’ Deputies on 2 and 3 June 2021

 At their 1405th meeting, on 2 and 3 June, the Ministers’ Deputies discussed current political affairs.

The Deputies held exchanges of views with:

The Deputies took note of the third activity report of the Conference of the Parties to the Council of Europe Convention on Laundering, Search, Seizure and Confiscation of the Proceeds from Crime and on the Financing of Terrorism (CETS No. 198).

They also adopted a resolution on the implementation of the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities by Montenegro.

Finally, the Deputies congratulated the German Presidency of the Committee of Ministers for the organisation of the 3rd European Youth Work Convention, held in December 2020, and took note of the Joint Council on Youth’s (CMJ) decisions for its follow-up, in particular the implementation of the European Youth Work Agenda (EYWA) in the framework of the “Bonn process”.

They also welcomed the Resolutions adopted by the 16th Conference of Council of Europe Ministers responsible for Sport (Athens, Greece) and took note of the Secretary General’s report on the Conference. They acknowledged the importance of developing sport policies at national, European and international level to maximise the benefits that sport brings to society, in particular in the fields of health, inclusion and education, and promoting human rights and the rule of law in and through sport.
