At their 1316th meeting, the Ministers' Deputies continued the preparation of the 128th Session of the Committee of Ministers, which will take place in Elsinore (Denmark) on 17-18 May 2018. In particular, they approved the text of the draft Protocol amending the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data (ETS No. 108) and agreed to transmit it to the Session for adoption by the Ministers. The Protocol will be opened for signature on 25 June 2018 during the 3rd part-session of the Parliamentary Assembly, in Strasbourg.

The Deputies also welcomed the draft Memorandum of Understanding between the Council of Europe and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and noted that the Secretary General would proceed to its signature at a date and venue to be defined at a later stage.
